Lūznavas young people call for a “evening talk of important” event

Wednesday, 16 May, at 18.00 Lūznavas youth initiative group calls for an educational event with cinema, music and discussions – “evening talk of important”. The event will take place in the newly opened Lūznavas manor “Kulturys škiuni” and will encourage young people to talk about today's important topics.
The idea of an educational event “evening talk of important” project is to create a communication and conversation between young people on topics that are global at global level, such as racism, violence, feminism, global warming, etc., as well as updating events and human fate in the context of the centennium of Latvia. In the evening programme of May 16, the documentaries “Lydia” will be shown and "they will understand. Sixty. Beginning '. These film topics are called – they are dreams of free Latvia. The content of the film's“ own understanding ”reveals the efforts of the 60 s Latvian rock musicians of the past century, spinning censorship and bans, in their songs to celebrate the People's desire for freedom and independence, while the film Liddy says about Lydia Lasman-Doronen, who is the author of the film, director Andrejs Verhoustinskis calls“ the prisoner of conscience ”. During the Soviet occupation, Lydia was arrested several times, spending 14 years in prison, although her only crime was a dream of free Latvia.
