On Sunday, October 28, Lūznavas manor calls for two events: 13.00 Literary talk cycle meeting with writer Andru Manfeldi, but at 15.00 a new stiff Quartet and jazz trio concert program “classics meets jazz”.
Now, for almost a year, Lūznavas readers are invited to meet with different authors. Second event of the autumn season of the literary talk cycle on Sunday at noon 13.00 - meeting with writer Andru Manfeldi. The manfeld is one of the most prominent writers of today who play and call genres, not afraid of contradictory and personality, Latvia, a sense of life for painful topics. In the spring of that year, Andris Manfeldi wrote literature Sandra Vensko: “Andra is not afraid to be mistaken, is a charismatic personality, writes brightly, bright colours of color, and how through the eye of the needle is the knowledge of herself and the world. Looking for answers to important questions both in the poetry and in the prose, sketching a single range of themes, drawing parallel in time and space - dependency, mystery of faith, awareness of the place, pain and general human.“ In 2018, his reader is surprised to search for now the eleventh A. Manfeld book “home came to bass”. The meeting would be conducted by a literature scientist in Shuplinsky.
But in the afternoon, at noon 15.00, IN Lūznavas manor red hall, a new project will be heard – “classics meets jazz”, in which academic musicians and jazz musicians join forces in a joint concert program. It will be a dynamic, colourless and exciting musical journey that develops with two different music worlds. The project consists of 7 musicians and two classic configurations on one stage – a jazz trio and a stiff quartet. The jazz musicians in this association include Janis Rubiks, Edgars zirulis (piano) and Rudolf Dankfeld, who have been performing together as “Equanimity trio” for a year. On the other hand, a stiff Quartet is formed in Latvia by the interrogators of his instrument – Christian Ozolina (violins), Ivars miracle (violet), Sylvia Krauze (alts) and Dārta St. (chell). The concert ideas and musical authors are close musical companions Janis Rubiks and Edgars zirulis. Their concert program is based on a philosophical journey through the world of human consciousness. Through music, the various states of consciousness are discovered and contemplated – awakening, present-day awareness, passion, loneliness, noxity etc. And exactly the fusion of two different musical worlds is what makes it possible to express these ideas in such a wide and colourful spectrum. As the states of human consciousness, the nature of the music in this programme comes from a very contemporary, calm and romantic sound (which is stifled by the tenderness of this project) to a very rhythmic, unused and excupied sound (which is a trio-energetic game and improvisation). Together these two polarities form a whole whole and bring the listeners to their beautiful journey through a genre known as “jazz” in the world.
Tickets for both events are to be held in a “ticket paradise” ticket trading network across Latvia and the Internet, as well AS on location AT Lūznavas in Manor. Ticket price for the concert from 6.00 to 10.00 €, while the price of the literary talk cycle entrance ticket 3.00 €. More plašāk: luznavasmuiza.lv.
