Saturday, 18 May at 21.00, celebrating this year's museum night, Lūznavas manor invites to go to a concert walk, where musical rooms will also be scattered where traditional concerts do not exist. The listeners will be taken through a variety of times and spaces by the three-pianist Ieva Saliette's vicious miniconds.
The journey in the past with music and stories will begin in the manor chapel, where it will be possible to hear a very rare instrument in Latvia – clavisimbals or medieval clamp, and in particular the 15 th century music of this instrument. Next, the walk will lead to the manor's attic, where, in order not to interfere with the straps of the manor's permanent residents, the quieter keyboard instrument, the clavihord and the Renaissance-time music, will sound. But at the end of the concert walk – a moment in the traditional manor concert scene – in the red hall. During the evening of 18 th-century clavesine, the music of the time spent the evening in Ieva's performance.
The musician's narrative will be accompanied by a musician's narrative, creating a special atmosphere and helping to feel the atmosphere of music and its creation. Clavesinist Ieva Saliete's ancient music has been studied in Latvia, Germany and Switzerland, currently co-operates with both the orchestra “Sinfonietta Riga” baroque projects and other collectors, participates in solo and chamber music projects in Germany and Switzerland, is a musical orchestra of Berne's ancient music orchestra “Teu passions de l' Ame”. He was particularly close to Johana Gotfred, a musician who had just celebrated a 15-year-anniversary. He was a member of the Latvian Museum of Music Academy of Latvia, musicized in the Freiburg baroque orchestra, “ensemble 415”, Basel Camerochestra, etc. Received the big music prize 2017 “for outstanding work in the ensemble.”
Before the evening musical event – all day from 10.00, there will be a day of open doors, which is an opportunity FOR Lūznavas manor and the currently viewed digital art exhibitions – “behind the black mirror” and “digital experiments in the design II” – to visit free.
