IN SEPTEMBER Lūznavas, a digital art representative from France will be active in September

Close the project European Connections of Digital Arts – EUCIDA (Latin – “Digital art covers Europe”) competitions for artists' residences. For ten days, from 18 to 29 September, Lūznavas in Manor will live and work as an artist from France Jacques Lopez, who is active in the field of digital art.
By French artist, every lead it will be possible to visit creative workshops, as well as to experiment with the possibilities of laser equipment under the project for the creation of artistic works. 
In turn until 30 August artists and cultural professionals interested in digital art may apply for in the tender for a grant of 500 euros to go mobility visits in Ireland and France. The purpose of mobility visits is the exchange of experience in the field of digital art, cooperation between artists of different countries, participation in exhibitions, conferences, creative work. As the project coordinator Inta Rimšāne noted, this amount is, of course, not large, but it can also be used as a complement to any other, cultural/artistic, seminar in an EU country. EUCIDA is a 3-year project financed by the European Union “Creative Europe” and implemented by the modern art centre in Ireland (Rua red) and France (Espace Multimédia Gantner) in cooperation with the municipality of Rezekne. The aim of the project is to establish cooperation between digital artists and cultural acquaintants in Europe, thereby developing innovation and promoting the popularity of digital art at international level. By August 31, AN international digital art exhibition “SPACE FOR ECHOES”, which includes six artists: Jeanne Briand, France), Fabian Loss (Fabien Leaustic, France), Adam Gibney (Ireland), Helen McMahon, Ireland, and Rasa Smite and Paula wiltola from Latvia are present at THE Lūznavas Manor.
