November – month of patriotism, month of public holidays. On 25 November, THE Maltas cultural house choir “Madarina” went to Dagda to participate in a Friendship concert dedicated to Latvia's 99 th birthday. We were invited by the Dagda Belarusian association “Verbica”, who visited Maltā in the autumn market in Borovaya with the culinary heritage of Belarusians and the songs of the People's songs.
AT Maltas, a Latvian national anthem, Jānis Listen and Guntars witch song “blowing breeze” and musical literary composition “Latvia” came out in Dagda. On the other hand, Dagda's self-employed workers - the Belarusian anti-Russian ensemble “Akolica”, the Senior General Englishman “Sendienas” and the Ansablis “Verba” with Latvian, Latgalian and Belarusian People's songs created a warm and friendly celebration of festivals. Aivars Trulis, Chairman of the Dagda District Council, thanked the concert participants for the songs and poetry. It was convinced that friendship was a great value that boosts good. The self-employed people also expressed hope that it was just a start for friendly cooperation. With the Belarusian leader Tatjana Gogalinsk Belarusian, “ДАРАГАЯ ТА ХАТКА, ДЗЕ РАДЗИЛА МЯНЕ МАТКА”, was a festive event that we also concluded a month of patriotism.
