The project “European Connections of Digital Arts” — EUCIDA (digital art covers Europe) is a digital art artist from Ireland, Christine Mackey, in Lucznava from 18 to 25 September.
This time, the subject of the artist's research is bees, their habits and life in the natural environment. On the first day of his residence, Christine was visiting the parish of Biteneka Jane Jesko Nagļu, surveying his farm “Children's honey”, photographing bees, typing the bees of the bees. Based on these exciting studies, digital art installations will be built.
In the course of THE EUCIDA project, the artist resides for a third year, in the previous years, THE French artists Stefans Cloor and Elise Alloin, Jacques Lopez, and the Irish artist Sara Ellen Lundy were active in the Lūznavas manor.
EUCIDA is a three-year project financed by the European Union “Creative Europe” and implemented by the modern art centre in Ireland (Rua red) and France (Espace Multimédia Gantner) in cooperation with the municipality of Rezekne. The aim of the project is to establish cooperation between digital artists and cultural acquaintants in Europe, thereby developing innovation and promoting the popularity of digital art at international level.
