For young people

IN THE multi-functional hall OF Maltas, the second year of Rezekne took place in the “Dyeubol” competition competition of the secondary school of Rezekne. On 26 January, 60 of the most active secondary students from five schools had arrived: Nautrēnu secondary schools, Kaunatas secondary schools, Tiskad High School, Rezekne Technical School and, of course, from Maltas secondary school.
The aim of the event was the introduction of young people and the friendliness among themselves, the promotion of sport among young people, as well as an interesting and useful leisure of young people, so that young people were divided into 10 mixed teams to play a volleyball in an unusual environment and find new friends. It should be noted that competition was very strong this year, the number of participants and the ability to work in new circumstances have increased significantly compared to previous years. By playing one game, the participants often rushed to the main judge's table to find out when their next game was going. The competition took place up to a time. 21.00. The winners of the prizes were eventually cleared – the 3 rd place was won by the team “black wolves” (Jolanta Bačkure, Agris Ralph Skesters, Eduards Cveks, Eduards Vigups, Anna Tripane, Marika Smirnova), the 2 nd place was awarded by the team “Dream Team” (Annie Kuzminska, Lena Šlapakov, Nikita Bashmakov, Oscar Ivolans, Ermine potash, Katherine Belaka), while the gold medal was won by the “phoenix” team (Darja Schnevele, Lauris Lelis, Victoria Žukova, Ieva Paškevich).
At the end of the evening there was a discovery and a peaceful sitting at the tables with the baskets she had taken, and, of course, conversations with the new friends and the endless “selfiji”.
Overall, “Monitor” gave an excellent impression to both the organisers and the participants. Maltas High-school students want to thank the schools mentioned in the article and the Rezekne municipality's youth case specialist Janis Saudis, who helped and supported the event. The friendship between schools has a united force! We'll wait next year as much youth responsiveness!
