Maltese succeeds in Latgale's new chess amateur championship

On Friday, October 4, THE New Latgale creative service centre “Zeimuļs” was held BY VI Latgale new chess championship. 60 pupils from Daugavpils, Rēzekne municipality, Jçkabpils and Tiles arrived at the traditional Latgale New Chess Championship. In three years, 60 participants played in groups.
At the age of 10, 28 participants played in the youngest group.
In the assessment of girls:
1 st place – Milan Gaiļevska, 5.5 points (Daugavpils)
2 nd place – Alice Laimina, 4.5 points (Jacob)
3 rd place – Ruth Midega, 4 points (Jacob)
In the assessment of boys:
1 st place - Marty Krakops, 6,5 points (Tilja)
2 nd place – Rainer leaf, 5.5 points (Jacob)
3 rd place - Arthur Masimov, 5 points (Jacob)
In the middle group, 24 participants played for up to 14 years.
In the assessment of girls:
1 st place – Evelyn Sticane, 5,5 points (Jacob)
2 nd place - Genette Klusha, 4.5 points (Rezekne)
3 rd place - Christine Georgia, 4.5 points (Malta)
In the assessment of boys:
1 st place – Lauris Lazovskis, 6 points (Rezekne)
2 nd place - David hawk, 5 points (Rezekne)
3 rd place – Ralph Rinkevics, 5 points (Jacob)
In the older group up to 19 years.
In the assessment of girls:
1 st place - Anna Kazmerica, 7 points (Rezekne)
2 nd place - Jekaterina Smirnov, 5,5 points (Rezekne)
3 rd place – Liana stupid, 4.5 points (Jacob)
In the assessment of boys:
1 st place - Edward Schtekel, 4.5 points (Malta)
2 nd place – Rainer Grandan, 2.5 points (Jacob)
3 rd place – Arvis Ruhman, 2 points (Jacob)
All the winners of the prizes received the centre's medals, diplomas and valuable prizes. Valuable prizes also received 4 th place in all age groups in both boys and girls.
