On 26 November, the third school choir singing and twinning festival “My song for Latvia” took place. 9 collectors from Rezekne municipality, Rēzekne City and Kupiiski District (Lithuania) took part. The author of the idea is Irene Ivanova, who is the leader of several choirs and ensembles, she wanted the choirs to be able to get together and make friends. There were many songs dedicated to Latvia in festivals, both from the repertoire of the school curriculum and from the songs of the songs of songs and dance festivals. “Flag red-white...”, “I came to a fire...”, “which was harmful to not living...”, “white promise”, “my father's land”, “my song” – these are just a few songs sang by children and young people. Kupiiski Progimnia folklore collective greeted all Latvian national festivals with various Lithuanian songs and dances. Of course, a special surprise was when the Lithuanian collective sang the Latvian peoples. Thank you for all the collective leaders -- Irene Ivanov, Maruta Chudarei, Rasma Estonia, Ilona Butcastle, Ingai Katkovsk, Iveta Kepulei, Ingai Mazurei, Taivai Pauznetne. Thank YOU FOR THE Lendžu People's House leader Ligitai Meļko, the Kalnzeru Catholic Primary School Director, Christine Leshchinsk and the school collector and, of course, Lendžu parish head of administration for Voldemar Deksnim.
