Education

What happens in small schools after their closure? Gaigalavas parish in Sherjan School is going to go on! Ten years after the last call, the little school, under his roof, gathers children and educators to share the miracles of science and rejoice.
On the evening of 2 August, THE Gaigalavas parish parish, ASAC “Sherjan Schools”, gathered children, both from Shergans, from Gaigalavas and Nautrēniem, to co-operate with the school's former teachers Ilona delveri, Inta Birks, vija Armuska and former school students Agnes Muižniece, to open the wonderful science. Although the clouds of rainy rain were going through the sky all day, and every time it seemed, just before the event came out, the wind stopped and a warm sunlight began to shine.
The children, along with their parents, were cooking them out of spent toilet paper rolls and balloons, bleaching balloons with a chemical reaction, seizing water from a plate of candle from a plate in a glass and forming a bath bomb that was also swimming in the bowl. On the other hand, there was bubbling in the meadow next to the eagle – with their own cooked tools and a bubble solution, Gatis made huge soap bubbles. The children looked at what was happening with astonishment and listened with great interest to the explanation: how is it possible! Although the adults were hiding, but their eyes had to be read, how much science was actually interesting.
The culmination of the “little knowing day” was the volcanic eruptions. One volcano emerged from the narrow neck of the flask, and the other from the collar bottle. The latter was the most forceful, since then the most careful viewers were the part of the volcano lava, the Mentos candy.
Upon completion of each serious educational institution, a serious document regarding the acquired knowledge shall also be issued. So after trying all experiments, we all got into a circle and applauded ourselves because we were big malays, and every child received a diploma of active participation in the “little knowing day.”
I would like to say a great thank you to everyone who did not reply, but replied, yes, of course, that i would participate and, on a voluntary basis, agreed to help this nice event. Ilona, vija, Inta, Agnes, Gati and Ainr, THANK YOU!
Ieva Lāce,
SAC Head of the Cypriot School
