Looking for Director Kaunatas for secondary school

The municipality of Rezekne promulgates the open competition to a vacancy OF Kaunatas secondary school. The purpose of the open competition is to ascertain and approve the most suitable candidate for the performance of the duties of the Director of the State of the Rēzekne, THE most suitable candidate for the fulfilment of the duties of the Director of the Secondary School, who shall ensure the quality work and development of the institution. A tenderer who has higher pedagogical education and who has submitted an application together with all the necessary selection documents specified in the tender may participate in the tender In the by-laws.
Education and skills required for the performance of the duties:

• higher pedagogical education,
• national language knowledge at the highest level,
• experience in the field of pedagogical or educational management, or in a co-ordinating, consultative or educational work of a similar nature,
• good communication and cooperation skills, psychological stress in stress situations,
• knowledge in the methodology of organisation of management work,
• knowledge in the field of education content and development,
• knowledge of foreign languages,
• experience in project work,
• IT use skills,
• the right of the driver of the driver.

An invitation to a Kaunatas secondary school director will take place in at least two stages.
In the first round (8.08.2017), the Commission shall assess the conformity of tenderers with the requirements laid down in the tender according to the documents submitted (point 3.4 of the Regulation);
In the second round (9.08.2017), applicants whose documents submitted meet the requirements of the tender and which are not subject to the restrictions laid down in the Law on Education and the Protection of the Rights of the Child shall be invited to work as a pedagogue. In the second round, a work interview is performed with each applicant, which will assess:

• A presentation of the concept of the regional development concept OF the municipality OF Rezekne (Kaunatas), its compliance with the written material submitted;
• Knowledge and skills in schools,
• Erudition, competency, style,
• Communication skills, communication skills,
• Knowledge in foreign languages (at least in one EU Official language).

If applicants have received the same number of points, the Commission shall organise an additional selection round.
The applicant who won the competition shall be directed for approval at a meeting of the Standing Committee on Education, Culture and Sport, which shall be directed by the nominated candidate at the meeting of the Council. After a positive decision of the council, the applicant's candidature shall be co-ordinated with the Ministry of Education and Science. After co-ordination with the Ministry of Education and Science, the applicant is recruited with a probationary period.
The previous Kaunatas High School Director, Skaidrīte Uzulina, has decided to continue working in an educational institution that is closer to her place of residence in the Preilu municipality.
