Miķelday is the autumn sunshine when the sun turns to winter – the day and night are the same. For pupils, this time is like warm-up for a serious job, but in nature everything is going to rest. All autumn works have been made, the harvest is harvested, leaving the land. This work should be done by Martin. And then the ground can rest, accumulate the forces for the next spring.
Miķeļi is a wealthy festival, because of the nature of nature in the richest seasons, they are also a harvest festival. Many folk songs and beliefs have been devoted to the Latvian folklore.
IN Sakstagala John's primary school at Miķelday, a special role was devoted to the apple, and all the events were associated with that foetus. An exhibition was created, in which the apples of several varieties, paints and sizes were cowed. The pupils drew them in different techniques, and they mentioned the dough. A very interesting hat of hat, in which children from various natural materials had made strange and non-reproducible headgear. The materials were different: straw, apples, tree leaves, cane. At the end of the event, they watched the cartoons “apple bag” together.
Of course, all pupils' activities were followed by strong eyes, delighted and valued children's imagination, the work they had done. The results were collected and the most active, attractive and imaginative pupils who were awarded with special, this day diplomas, with apple diplomas.
Michel's gone, waiting for Martin!
