The summer holidays in children are usually filled with many and different activities, both organized and imaginative. The new generation of Shergans came to the cultural house and made a suggestion that they wanted to play a friendship game in minifutball, adding that all organizational preparatory work would be done by themselves, only where adult help would be needed, and asked to be involved in the cultural house. The children's wish was supported and the minifutball competitions succeeded.
The time of preparation of the competitions went without noticing. An afish was charged with the invitation to organize and apply for teams, a minifutball statute, an organized area on the stadium for all the minifutball game parameters. Every afternoon, and until late evening, the teams were doing exercises. On the day of the competition, children also took all necessary technical equipment to the area – scoreboard, benches, drinking water, area delimiting flags, bombs, etc.
Five teams, “Nike Legends”, “Nike”, “water lions”, “Real Madrid” and “Dvarovije Fristaileri” took part in the competition. The age of the participants was seven to fifteen. The team was composed of three plots and a goalkeeper, and some of the teams had also taken care of the changers. The duration of one game was twenty minutes or two half times in ten minutes. It is a pleasure that the girls' team also participated in the competition. The adjudication of the games was entrusted to Erikam, Victor Leitan.
The competition ran for almost three hours. There was no lack of supporters and viewers.
The first place was won by the team “Nike Legends” (Ilvars Razgalis, Emills Kapacis, Artis Garda and Mikhail Sazonov), the second place – “Dvorovije Fristaileri” (Igors Pleanov, Andrejs Bogdanovs, Kaspars Saveyev, Marcus Kapacis and Stepans Pleanov), the third place was won by “Real Madrid” (Sergei Geornov, Elgar Razgalis, Valentin Juks and Jānis Hodovcevs).
The fourth place was “udden lions” (Mark Kurakin, Pavel Minin, Uldis Juļs, brothers Edgars and Edward Fekalistovi), while the fifth place remained “Nike” (Cynthia Garda, Valeria McEyeva, Victoria Brinkevich and Victor Bazulis).
At the end of the competition, the organisers of the competition handed down the diplomas and small prizes to the team. The candy table was then prepared for all participants in the competition. The prizes and sweets were covered with financial support from parish administration.
Children and young people were very pleased with the progress of competitions and the results achieved. They all shared the match, friendship, and time spent together. It was also a great opportunity for experience in organisational work and skills.
