On 9 March, THE Kaunatas high school family gathered on the song and dance festival concert '“come dance!” Kaunatas TN, directed BY Kaunatas high school People's dance teacher alla Silva and her superintendent dancers. The concert had the opportunity to enjoy dances that are being prepared in this year from 6 to 12 July for the forthcoming XII Latvian Schools Youth Song and Dance Festival' 'Come to Gavilt'.
In the introduction to the event, it was said that the artistic ideas of the People's dance great concert “the sun of golden jewelry” were based on the crown – a walled flower or a leaf thread, a circular head rotation worn and worn. It is a daily festival - Easter, Christmas, Spanish festival. During the great concert, a year of sunlight from John will be danced in four pines, showing that our ancestors have celebrated not only summer sunshine or Jānis, winter sunnuts or Christmas and Easter, but there have been many other celebrations. The annual festival goes through the sun, the sun is a golden crown. The Latvian year consists of celebrations. A celebration of all years. Celebrate the sun.
Three Kaunatas secondary school dance collectors participated in the concert: classes 2-4, 5-6 and 7-10. 10 dances were danced together. Every dance was given a small look and information about the day and traditions of the festival, the story of what was done on that day. The event started with a dance of “three circled dundurs” on Laiden Day, but ended with a dance “long bark” page, showing the annual rhythm throughout the cut and the richness and saturation of traditions.
It was another chance for dancers to play in front of the audience to get a good stage of the stage, because the dance in the People's suit, which was not being dragged, gave the dancers a different load and responsibility, but they were very good at the task. The spectators were delighted by the expressive smiles of the dancers, the tall bodies, the stretched legs, and the eye contact with the partner, who is a very important moment in the dance.
On Thursday, March 12, all Kaunatas high school dancers drove to Burzgali to participate in the selection of song and dance festival participants, but we all, big and small, held thumbs at Kaunatas in high school to do our own. We're happy for good results! We are proud of our dancers and the persistent and strong teacher Alla Silov, who has invested a lot of effort and time in the process. We hope that Kaunatas high school dancers will be on holidays in Riga and enjoy us and all the viewers with their performances.
