The Day of Nazism and the Second World War Remembrance Day Kaunatā

On May 8, Kaunatas high school students and local residents honoured and remembered the day of the nazism and the day of the Second World War. This is the day when both the fallen soldiers and the peaceful people who went in the Second World War are mentioned throughout the world.
The fate of Latvia has been strong and complex, it has been deprived of whole families and generations, but the people, even devastated and disappointed, have been able to recover and resurrect. Peace, mutual respect and the belief of people are the basis of Latvia.
The event was attended BY Kaunatas parish management head Sergei Bashmakov, Kaunatas High School Director Skaidrīte Uzulina. Thank you very much to Stanislava Inkinai, who presented and told about the history and events of Latvia, which also took place IN THE parish OF Kaunatas.
