Closed youth initiative project competition

Spring has come not only with a more sunny time, but also with creative and sporting ideas of young people in Rezekne, due to the completion of the Rezekne municipality project competition for young people on funding for youth initiative projects. In total, 33 project applications were submitted, of which 23 most topical and original funds were awarded with a total amount of EUR 7000.
Project applications are based on the ideas of various activities – organisation of sports and orientation competitions (adventure Hiking with creative tasks, cyclomaratone, Olympic games, attraction of tourism foundations), the development of musical talents and video recreational skills, as well as the activities of the Deposit Skills. Among the supported ideas, there are also unprecedented measures – research of the history of the school, the acquisition of road traffic regulations in a creative way, the acquisition of public speech techniques, as well as competitions where the best cooks between the people of the municipality will be identified.
All projects supported by youth initiatives will be implemented over the period from 1 April to 1 November.
