In accordance with the decision of the Rēzekne District Commission of 24 July 2018, No 1 of the Commission of 24 July 2018, on the setting of the time limit for the application of candidates for the election of polling stations, the application for the election of candidates of the electoral districts to the Commission on 25 July to 21 August 2018 is 13. The Saeima elections on 6 October 2018.

The Commission and the Commission of the Electoral District Commission of the Republic of Latvia and the Commission of the Central Election Commission “Establishment of polling stations in the cities of the Republic, novados and parish”, which have been approved by decision No 4 of the Central Election Commission of 25 January 2013, referred to in Paragraph 6 of the Law of 25 January 2013.
Any voter may be appointed as a Member of the Commission of the District:
1) who knows the Latvian language;
2) who has at least general secondary education;
3) who has not been nominated as a candidate for a Member or is not a authorised person for the submission of a list of candidates;
4) who is not a Member of the European Parliament, the Saeima, the city council or council of the council of the relevant Republic;
5) who is not a member of another electoral commission or a member of the Commission of another district.
The right to nominate and submit their representatives to the Commission shall be:
1) registered political parties or associations of registered political parties;
2) not less than ten voters (hereinafter – the electoral group);
3) a member of the relevant electoral commission.
Each political party or association of political parties, electoral group or member of the relevant electoral commission may nominate and submit up to seven candidates in each compartment.
If a candidate is nominated by a political party or association of political parties, the name of the political party or association of political parties, the name of the contact person, surname and telephone shall be indicated in the application. In addition, the application shall be accompanied by an extract from the political party or association of political parties from the decision of the central permanent functioning management body.
If a candidate is nominated by a group of voters, the application must be signed by each voter, giving his name, surname, personal identity number and address of residence.

The application of the candidate for the election of a Member of the Commission shall be submitted to the Commission for the election of Rezekne to the Commission by address: release alley 95A, Rezekne, 19 th or 36 th.
