Projects

Sakstagala parish administration designates the technical project “development of water holdings in the municipality OF Rēzekne Sakstagala parish Ciskad village”. The development process will change the streets that will be connected to centralised water. The reconstruction of water supply networks includes streets with denser popularity, thus ensuring the optimum development of networks at the same time as the construction of sewerage networks. The street change is technically and economically justified by the topography of the village and the planned placement of the water-holding objects. Total length of reconstructed water supply networks - green street, trunk nets - 785 m, toggles 170 m, liner street, trunk nets - 360 m, switches 35 m. The construction of sewerage networks is necessary throughout the village economically justified service area, but due to limited available funding it is divided into 2 stages - within the project and outside the project. In the course of development of the project, a survey of the population was carried out and it is concluded that there is a need to change the streets of the sewerage networks. Church and pharmacy streets are excluded from the project, leaving the streets of church streets only to the extent that it is necessary to switch to the public-important structures - schools -- the building and the built-up sewage treatment plant. After the proposals and design technical analyses received, the sewerage networks are planned at 250 m green street, the main networks 550 m and the transmission 125 m. On the street there is a terrain drop on the green side of the street, so the main lines are planned for 335 m, at 35 m.
The project is implemented in ERDF support activity 3.4.1. 1. “Development of water management infrastructure in populated areas with population up to 2000”, with Eur 492 313 OF European Structural Funds, total project costs 579 108 EURO.
Overall, the implementation of the project will have a positive impact on the physical and anthropogenic environment of the Ciskskin village, reduce anthropogenic effects through the drainage to the Chetchora river, which is the tributary of the Rēzekne River, reduce the amount of pollution in the environment from environmental requirements for non-compliant stocktanks, which are the cause of eutrophication, eliminate potential sources of pollution, have a positive impact on the compliance of the environmental and nature protection requirements in the municipality of Sakstagala.
The reconstruction of the water pipeline will result in reduced drinking water leakage (losses of 52.41 TP1T, after project disposal – 32.61 TP1T), so that the amount of water used will decrease, the amount of water abstraction will decrease, calculated per consumer. The construction of a new artery and water preparation station will provide a quality water supply to the population of the village of Ciskad. The construction of sewerage networks and the construction of sewage treatment plants will result in waste water management in accordance with regulatory requirements. The construction of sewerage networks will create preconditions for the elimination of septicians and savings vessels and reduce the number of individual sewerage septicians, thereby preventing potential surface water contamination by sewerage septic leaks.
The implementation of the project will ensure the availability of quality, regulatory requirements for water supply (78.21 TP1T) and sewerage (50.31 TP1T) services for the Ciscal village population, ensuring compliance OF 100% service quality with all users of water-holding services, reducing the amount of leakage in the water supply system. It will have a positive impact on the image of the municipality as a whole and will make the business environment considerably more attractive and will improve the well-being and recreational opportunities of the population in the Ciscal village.
