Conference of Directors of the Rēzekne District Schools

On 28 August, the directors of the Rezekne municipality and the deputy directors gathered in the large hall of the municipality of Rezekne to their traditional discussion before the new work. According to traditions, the teachers with musical performance were performed by Rebecca Christian.
In addressing the conference participants, the President OF the Rēzekne District Council, Monvīds Švarcs, recalled that the school is a place where the new generation of beliefs are formed: I call on teachers to see the positive and teach their children. Encourage pupils to understand the role of each member of society in shaping the common world. Material life is not a major, much more important thing is the feeling of birth and patriotism. We can idealise places where we have never been and will not be, but let us remember that it is for us and our children to create their own country. I call for not only pupils but also to involve families in the common job so that the school and family work together so that the pupil is successful.
We will look for the beautiful and positive, we will be active, and we will wait for Latvia's 100 years with a sense of husbandry! "
The vice-president of the municipality of Rēzekne, Elhusband Pizāne, said that the management of the municipality had visited several of the schools of the municipality and had a positive impression on what had been made: “each school has done so that the pupil in the educational institution will feel good. At some school there are beautifully painted walls, another special-shaped table, another look at the well-being of the schoolboy, placing flowers. A late school year! '
The President OF the Rēzekne District Council, Chairman OF the Standing Committee on Education, Culture and Sport, Guntis Rasims, wished to be patient and happy at every school day: “so that you are pleased to go to school, and then you will certainly be the best and most smiling children!”

The head of the municipality of Rēzekne, Guntars ants, said that the change in demographic situation requires adjustments to be made in the network of educational institutions: “This year we are reorganising four pre-school educational institutions (PII), Lūznavas PII will be added Ozolaines PII, Čornajas–Kaunatas, Nagļu – Gaigalavas, but Rikavas PII - for the primary school. All these changes are made to prevent our pupils and kindergartens, and we very much hope that parents will assess the work they have done and choose the schools of Rezekne. '
The conference work continued throughout the day, but a traditional event will be held in Stockholm tomorrow - the sports games of the educational staff of Rezekne.
