Implementation of local government gravel reconstruction projects will continue in the territory of the municipality

The Regional Agricultural Administration of the Rural Support Service has assessed and supported project submission No 18-01-a00702-000006 of the municipality of Rezekne “Improving the municipal road infrastructure in Rēzekne District, 3 rd round”, which was submitted to the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development in the framework of the Latvian Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 “Basic services and village renewal in rural areas”, which provides for the conversion of 6 municipalities gravel roads into the municipality area.
Project No 18-01-a00702-000006 “Improving the municipal road infrastructure in the Rēzekne District, 3 rd round”:

• road No. 7619 A-13 — Laizans — Groverishki — Pawls 1,451 km Rēzekne municipality in THE parish of Ozolaines. A contract for the performance of works has been concluded with THE “Kauno Bridge”, on construction supervision with SIA “BaltLine Globe”. Construction works at the site have already been launched;
• motorway No. 5204 Pudnaments – Veideres 2.050 km Rēzekne Municipality of Feimaņu parish. A contract for the performance of works has been concluded with THE “Kauno Bridge”, on construction supervision with SIA “BaltLine Globe”. Construction works at the site have already been launched;
• motorway No. 9206 A/c v579 – Rosica and tower streets 0.913 km Rēzekne municipality in THE parish of Stoļerovas. A contract for the performance of works has been concluded with THE “Kauno Bridge”, on construction supervision with SIA “BaltLine Globe”. Construction works are planned to be launched in the month of May 2019;
• motorway Dubes – big flame mountain (No. 6277 Cherniki – Malinovka, No. 6264 Vaišļi – Kromani, No. 6261 Matuļi – Novinka – Dzerkali – Eisaki) 1.25 km 1 st round of the Rēzekne municipality in the parish of Kaunatas. A contract has been concluded with SIA “RIVIERA L” on the performance of construction works, regarding the supervision of construction with SIA “BaltLine Globe”. Construction works are planned to be started in the month of November of that year;
• road No. 7805 Spundjans – Drejerovka – small Garanchi 0.599 km 1 st round of Rēzekne municipality in the parish of Ozolmuižas. A contract for the performance of works has been concluded with THE “Kauno Bridge”, on construction supervision with SIA “BaltLine Globe”. Construction works are planned to be launched in the month of April 2019;
• motorway No. 8015 Runers – loci 1.16 km 1 st round of the Rēzekne municipality in the parish of Pušas. A contract has been concluded with SIA “E Boovskis” for the performance of construction works, regarding the supervision of construction with SIA BaltLine Globe. Construction work on the schedule submitted by the builder is planned to commence in the month of October of that year, but the works have not yet been commenced.

The aim of the project is to improve the quality of the gravel roads of the municipality of Rezekne for the promotion of rural business and ensuring the reach of the local population.
The total cost of the project is EUR 1 230050,19, the eligible costs are EUR 1 067 022,67, the public funding allocated is EUR 960 320.39.
The implementation of the project is planned until 21 April 2020.
