ON 19 March, THE SEA will commence the acceptance of employers' applications for the implementation of the summer employment measure

On 19 March 2018, the National Employment Agency (SEA) branches will start the adoption of employers' applications for the implementation of the pupil employment measure in summer 2018. The employer will be able to apply for participation in the event at the SEA branch where he intends to create a workplace for a student in the service area. Applications will be submitted electronically by signing it with a secure electronic signature or at the NVA branch.
THE SEA employer will provide a grant for the monthly salary OF a student at 50% of the minimum monthly wage determined in the country, while the other half of the salary will be paid by the employer himself. The monthly remuneration of pupils for full-time work must be at least in the national minimum wage of eur 430 before tax.
THE employer of THE SEA will also pay a grant to the employer's wages. For the management of 10 pupils' work, THE SNA grant for the salary of the employer will be at the amount of the minimum monthly salary determined in the State, so that the amount of the grant per one pupil will be one tenth of the minimum monthly wage determined in the State. One job manager will be able to manage up to 10 pupils.
THE SEA will pay health checks to pupils if it is provided for by the laws and regulations on compulsory health checks, as well as the insurance of pupils against accidents at workplaces. The employer, on the other hand, will pay the tax paid by the employer and the employee.
THE “employment measure” implemented BY THE SEA at the summer holidays for persons who receive education in general, special or vocational educational institutions will take place from 1 June to 31 August and will be able to participate in it between 15 and 20 years (including). The school's application for summer employment will be launched in May.
