October Green Market – new offers

Friday, October 16, from 10.00 to 13.00, in a parking area between the municipality of Rezekne and the national association cultural house, a purchaser's already favorite green market was held, where the production of the Rezekne municipality, domestic producers and artisanals is usually offered. This time there was a number of new offers that immediately deserved recognition. The purchasers have already hired Nautrēnu parish z/s “Berzubirze” ecologically grown garlic, but this time the owners also offered self-baked bread with garlic, as well as “Latgale vasabi” – pesto from garlic flowers that have been added to various meat meals. It should be noted that Evita Šķestere, owner of the z/s “Berzubirze”, was one of 13 entrepreneurs who had been in support of the project “Rural Economic Development in Rēzekne District” (LEARN), launched this year, for the launch and development of entrepreneurship in the territory of Rezekne District.
Delicious meat products, as usual, offered Sakstagala parish z/s “mint”. Valentine Svarinska, from Griškānu parish, always surprises the original jams and spices from the herbs of the garden itself, but now the packaging of her produce has specially designed artistic labels that immediately attract attention. On the other side of Latgale, the fruit garden was foiled with a rich harvest, but THE parish of THE Čornajas parish, John and Irene Batari had brought Saldus and juicy apples. The green market is inconceivable without a z/s “traveling” flavour cheeses and butter, z/s “fox” for quail eggs, as well as a neighbour – THE LPC “Viļāni” for dairy products. It must be acknowledged that the salesperson's responsiveness could be greater - many of the prepared trading venues in the tent were still empty.
The Green Market “chose to be produced in the municipality of Latvia” is organised by the municipality of Rezekne for more than a year in support of rural entrepreneurs, craftsmen and domestic producers “for the development of the rural economy in Rezekne municipality” (LEARN). The “LEARN” foundation has now moved to new premises in the Alleys 95C and is located next to the “green” store, while the older consultant's duties during the long absence of Dainas Butleres are performed by Ilze Kishchenko, who was the first organized.
