Olympic Day in Audiros

At the end of September, THE annual Olympic Day of Latvia was held at Audriņu. The Olympic flag was raised in the opening ceremony, then a joint warm-up followed, and then the most important task of the Olympic day was to get to know our pupils with a new sport – minihandball.

Feimaņu psk., Tiskad Special. internpsk., Maltas Special. internpsk., Gaigalavas psk., Sakstagala Jānis KCo. psk. And households - Audriņu psk. The children were very active, fighting for victory in each game. The most serious struggle was for the boys and girls born in 1999-2000, as the most team had been mentioned in these subgroup pupils.
Almost every school managed to win prizes. In the 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd places, medals and Olympic certificates were served. The most active school was given a special gift – the Olympics.
After the competition, the pupils admitted that the athletic day had succeeded, they were satisfied with their results and would be willing to meet even more in a more fluid number to play the new game – minihandball.
