Populated areas are not imaginable without environmental objects, which tell the story of their history, people and traditions. If many environmental objects from both stone and metal and other material have been built and located in the urban environment over recent years, in rural areas, namely parish centres and other rural areas, it is practically not.
Ozolaines parish has its own symbol – oak as a connecting element. As THE people of Ozolaines say, each of them is like a Love from a big oak. Consequently, the name of the symposium of the sculptors is “in silk oak”. In the seven-day period it will take place in the Rēzekne municipality, Ozolaines parish Bekis, which will perform 2 artists – Gunārs Klauch and Norbert Kudins, as well as students of the education programme of the art and design secondary school environment of Rezekne. It must be said that, under the direction of both artists, by attracting the young people of the Rēzekne Arts and Design Secondary School, environmental objects have so far been present in the city of Rezekne, as well as one of them is to be seen at the centre of the “beacon” OF the centre of water development, “lighthouse” IN THE parish OF Gaigalavas, which is set up in the “Lubana Lake story” of the project supported by Rezekne.
THE symposium of Ozolaines parish, as a result of the silk oak '', will be the object of the light environment at Bexu village at Ozolaines People's House. It will be a stone sculpture that will demonstrate the role of the countryside in the preservation and promotion of cultural values through the promotion of art innovation processes. The object will be addressed to all stakeholders, both citizens, visitors and tourists.
Currently, sketches are being developed which will soon be converted into sculpture magazine. In turn, the symposium is planned in August of that year. The symposium project received support for the creative work of the municipality of Rezekne.
