Completed insulating work at Jānis Kpaja Sakstagala in elementary school

In the first month of the new school year, school students and educators are pleased by the refurbishment of the renovated primary school, the activities of warming and improvement of the environment. The aim of the project is to reduce primary energy consumption and contribute to improving energy efficiency in the primary school building. The main activities of the project are Sakstagala Jānis KCo. the construction of the construction work of the primary school building, the replacement of the old windows, the reconstruction of the heating system and construction supervision. The expected results of the project are a reduction of the primary energy consumption of 295 745,94 kilowatt hours per year, a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions per year of 106,09 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent. The total amount of works shall be eur 201681,22 excluding VAT. The project is supported BY THE EU ERDF project “Growth and Employment” 4.2.2. of the specific support objective “to promote energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy in municipal buildings in accordance with local government integrated programmes”.
At the end of the warmth, the school's young people thanked the performers of the works, with self-prepared wafers and leafy bouquets.
