Extension of the Youth Guarantee in 23 professions

Up to 30 September extended Guarantees for youth final admission to 23 professions requested in the labour market, which may be acquired over a period of 1.5 years free of charge. Young people aged 17-29 who have received secondary education and receive an application in one of 13 vocational educational institutions may apply for training.
Admission is extended in professions such as visual image styles, finishing technician, tourist service consultant, author, confectionery, programmable metal working table Setup, accountant, hairdresser-styler, logistical employee, waiter, car mechanic, guest reception service technician and customer service specialist. The application will also continue in professions - a financial employee, a mechanic of agricultural machinery, a crop technician, a forest machine operator, a computer system technician, a restaurant cook, a hospitality service specialist, AN SpA specialist, an outfit modelling and design specialist and an interior design specialist.
At the time of the final reception Guarantees for youth the training is available in Riga, Ogre, Jelgava, Kuldīga, Liepaja, Ventspils, Daugavpils, Nine, Balvi, Rēzekne, Malnava, Preilos, Ludza and Ziluk.
To log in Guarantees for youth training, young people should be aged 17-29 with secondary education, but secondary vocational or higher education may also be obtained. Potential students may also be registered in the State Employment Agency as jobseekers or unemployed persons and at the same time receive unemployment benefit. It should be noted that young people cannot be employed, be on academic or parental leave, and be full-time students.
Students receive a scholarship from 70 to 115 euros per month during training, if successful, as well as teaching and free space at the service hotel. While at the time of qualification practice Youth Guarantee pay travel expenses and accommodation if necessary.

Guarantees for youth training in Latvia has been available since 2014 and the selected professions are coordinated with employers and industry experts before each admission. Nearly 8000 young people have completed their training and have helped them enter the labour market.
