Calls for a charity in the “trip to Ogri”

The municipality of Ogres calls on the people of Latvia to participate in an interesting charity stock, looking at the new film about Ogre municipality. Money for admission tickets will be channelled to charity - the needs of the social day centre “family”.
As the municipality of Rēzekne was informed by the executive director of the municipality of Ogres, Pēteris Špakovskis, in the end of 2019 with the support of the municipality of Ogres, the “ZB” film of the creative association “ZB” “journey to Ogri”. The film introduces audiences with Ogre municipality tourism objects, historical resort traditions and cultural activities in Ogre. In recent years, using the unique natural values in Ogres and through targeted municipal investments in the development of tourism infrastructure, Ogre has become a tourist attraction
In the film, the biologist Maris Olte, the pilot Raimonds Bergmanis, the basketball star Kaspars Berzins, the actor Lauris Ironis, the Sanda Dejus, the Arvis Zemanis, the people known in society, including the President of Latvia Raimonds Vejonis, the Chairman of the Ogres District Council Egils Helmanis, the head of the municipality of Ogre of Ogre, and the BK “Ogre” sportssti and the collective participants of the Ogre municipality cultural centre are participating in the film.
In the concept of “travel to Ogri”, the municipality of Ogre, in cooperation with the social service of Ogre, intends to redirect the social service unit to the social service unit – the day centre “family”. The Centre, located in the river prospectus 16, provides social care and social rehabilitation services, social skills development, education and leisure opportunities for persons with intellectual disabilities and psychiatric diseases.
The proceeds from the sale of the admission tickets will be used for customers of the day centre “family” (people with intellectual disabilities and psychiatric diseases aged 16 and over who have an I or II disability group), covering the costs of the activities necessary for the treatment of ratings, physiotherapy, as well as musical therapy, movement therapy etc.
