Saliete and Chudars will play the Bach music in Luznava over the ages and boundaries.

Sunday, October 14, at 15.00 Lūznavas in the red hall of the manor in the concert programme “conversation with Bahu” is summoned by the clavesinist Ieva Saliete and the guitarist Matīss Chudars.
In the concert programme “Conversation with Bahu”, which is one of the events of the “autumn chamber music festival 2018” in Latvia this year, an attempt will be made to answer the question that Johan Sebastian Bahs would play if this unusually gifted German baroque composer lived today. At the moment, it can only be imagined, but it is clear that there is a very close link between his created, sometimes extremely multi-layered notes and contemporary jazz music improvisations. The magazine Ieva Saliete and the new jazz guitarist Matîsa Chuar's meeting on one concert stage are not random. The concert will be a conversation across the ages and boundaries, sometimes expressing the wonder of Bach's brave and amazing searches of musical thoughts that often match the contemporary spiritual desire of the people in a premature and irresistible fashion. The skaņās and fantasy of Ieva Saliete were inspired by the mayor of the 21 st century Queen of the Queen of the 21 st century, Matîsa Chuar's apprehension of Bahu.
The clavesinist Ieva Saliete, who calls the Rēzekne side for his home, cooperates with the orchestra “Sinfonietta Riga”, participates in solo and chamber music projects in Germany and Switzerland, is a musical orchestra of Berne's ancient music orchestra “Teu passions de l' Ame”. Hannah Gotfred, a musician who plays with “Kesselberg ensemble” in Latvia, Germany and Switzerland, is particularly close. He was the assistant of the Latvian Academy of Music Academy. Musicized in the Freiburg baroque orchestra, “ensemble 415”, Basel Camerochestra, etc. Two of them received the Diapason d' or.
The roots of the jazz guitarist Matîsa Chudars are found in the Rēzekne municipality in Bergale. The musician graduated from the Music Conserard of Amsterdam and was invited to join the coservatory in 2015. Chudars is the recipient of the Grand Prix “Prince Christina concours 2010” and won the award for “Keep an Eye Jazz Award 2012”, “Burghausen Jazz Award 2013”, “Keep an Eye the Records 2017”, “Riga Jazz Stage 2017”. Actively concerts both as a solo artist and in various musician associations, as well as along with the orchestra “Riga”, Latvian national symphony orchestra, created programmes with Latvian radio choirs and other artists.
The two musicians on one stage will not meet for the first time, and IN Lūznavas, the two have already spoken, but for the first time, the meeting is at Chuar and Saliete's joint concert program, which will appear ON 14 October AT Lūznavas in Manor, and on 18 October at the art museum “Riga Stock”. Both Ieva and Matīss were among the nominators of the “big music prize 2017” – Ieva received a prize in the nomination “for outstanding work in the ensemble”, while Matīss was nominated as a musician of the year.
The concert programme “conversation with Bahu” in Luznava will be performed in collaboration with “Latvian concerts”, the concert process is supported by Rezekne municipality.
