Interview with State Police Rēzekne District

As the policemen pointed out, there has been a strong focus on preventive measures in the area of public order and security, but this year it is planned to give greater priority to public order: preventive and educational measures are expected, for example, in order to carry more people, especially children, during the day of the day of the reflective jackets, especially children, as this is not only a significant increase in safety on the roads, but also the introduction of children that care for their own safety is indispensable.

In view of the negative experience of other municipalities, the meeting also discussed the need for cooperation between the national police, social service, parish administrations and other institutions in order to prevent situations in which children are in danger due to lack of parents, negligence or lack of information of the relevant services.

As in previous years, this year, in every parish, the inspectors of the districts are continuing to be invited to address a variety of painful issues, but, if immediate assistance is required, call on free phones at 112 or 110 immediately: “the police are going to the event at any time of day, weekdays and holidays. I don't need to wait until the parish detector arrives at the parish. Theft, problems, and other occurrences requiring immediate police intervention should be addressed at once in order to be able to obtain evidence on“ hot feet ”,” said the policemen.
