Awarded “Rēzeknes” Youth Annual Award 2017, the most active young people – Bērzgales civil parish

Young people are those who make up the future of the municipality – with such conviction and the devise on 23 February in the municipality of Rezekne, the award ceremony of the Year of Youth Annual Awards was held for the second consecutive year. The solemn and attractive event was organised to honor, highlight and thank the most active and talented young people of Rezekne, youth experts and youth workers who have changed their lives and other young people with their performance.
In the celebration ceremony of the Rēzekne municipality, awards were awarded in eight nominations, with a total of 52 nominations. The winner of each nomination received a special prize, a stylised ladder made up of wood, symbolizing the way up to a career ladder. The authors of the stylised stairways as a year's prize were the young people of Rezekne. The implementation of the prize was taken over by the new businessman Walter Tsarud.
The Rēzekne municipality's annual award ceremony with an energetic dance was recharged and cheered by the participants of the dance studio STOP-TIME dance group Heroes Crew, while AT the peak of the nominations, Maltas music school violet quartet was celebrated: Ksenija Šmaukstele, Everita Schtekele, Agate Guibovska and Erika Ruhmane (pedagogical Rita Zuyeva).
The Youth Annual Prize organisers thanked the award ceremonies for volunteers, colleagues, parish councils, youth centres, youth affairs specialists and all those with whom the energy contribution was carried out in the course of the competition and award ceremony!

Winners of the “Rēzekne municipality award 2017” nominations:
“School of the Year” – Sandra Tim
Nautrēnu high school grade 12 school student, talented and erudite young woman who is an example of all the young people of Rezekne with his patriotic story. The laureate of various municipalities and regions of the region who support and encourage other young people to act for society through their initiative.

“Year's New Athlete” – Liana Zelina
Kaunatas Secondary School of Class 12, Rēzekne District Ttennis League absolute winner, who has won 8 th place in a table tennis at the National Championship of the Republic of Latvia and 1 st place in the Latvian Youth Olympics. Liana is a Latvian Favorite Table tennis player who represents Latvia on the Russian Continental Tennis Championship.

“Year's new artist” – Dagne Tuche
Maltas upper secondary school students who are creative in art and music activities – school, music school, youth centre, cultural house, library, parish, municipality and country. In the international visual art competition “I live at sea”, the young woman won 3 th place and bronze medal. He gets a guitarial game and sings in the women's choir “Madarina.”
Christine Fiodorova (Feimaņu civil parish), Alice Mazure (Nautrēnu civil parish) was also nominated.
“Year Volunteer” – Ieva Paškevich
Athletic and socially active Maltas secondary school students who always use opportunities to learn something new. Management of creative workshops, design of events, improvement of culinary skills, work in animal shelters and the creation of dance horeographs is a youth daily. In 2017, she took over a 30-year-old volunteer marathon.
The nomination also included: Janis Flower (Silmalas parish), Martin Vilcans (Feimaņu parish), Sandra Jakubenoka (Mākoņkalna civil parish), Eduards Zariņš (Dricānu civil parish), Iluta Oborenko (Sakstagala civil parish).
“Year Youth Employee” – Dace Decsne
Sakstagala parish youth affairs specialist who inspires, with his perseverance, creativity, diligence and responsibility, Sakstagala young people to do new things. She is positive, responsible, always listening and supports young people's ideas. As a result of the activity of Daces, a Sakstagala parish youth centre opened in Ciskados in 2017.
The nomination also included: Ilze Chudare (Bērzgales parish youth affairs specialist), Aivars Mežatučs (Feimaņu parish youth affairs specialist), Andris Putrans (Stružānu parish sport activist, Rēzekne municipality BJSS basketball coach), Christine rimish (former head OF Ozolmuižas youth centre), Santa Latiseva-Chudare (Lendžu parish youth affairs specialist).
“New York-friendly parish administration” – Ilzeskalna parish administration
Governance that enables local young people to show themselves as competitive, equivalent society personalities and individuals. By supporting the ideas of young people and providing them with diverse and useful leisure opportunities, the administration contributes to the social growth and creativity of young people.
The nomination also included: Nautrēnu parish administration, Feimaņu parish administration, Bērzgales parish administration, Sakstagala parish administration.
“Year of the Year” – Feimaņu parish association “Centre for Eastern Latvian Creative Initiatives”
A society that organises various types of, camps, informal outdoor environmental training, boat trips, hiking and sporting events for all young people in Rezekne, as well as in the summer months offers opportunities for young people to work.
“Year's most active parish 2017” – Bērzgales civil parish
In 2017, 31 youth event was organised in THE parish OF Bērzgales, the parish young people participated in 80 other parish, municipality and Latvian-wide activities for young people, particularly struggling and gaining victory in volleyball areas.
2 nd place: Feimaņu civil parish
3 rd place: Dricānu civil parish
The nomination also included: Sakstagala parish, Nautrēnu civil parish, Ilzeskalna civil parish.
