Awarded Awards “Rezekne Municipality 2015”

For the fourth year, 19 March of the Rēzekne municipality is a significant day – the day of the Rēzekne municipality, when the celebration ceremony of the competition “Rēzekne District Company” is held. Also this year, the Latgale Embassy “Gors” was awarded the prizes for the best, most successful, most successful and most active people in Latvia.
His congratulations on the Rēzekne municipality were sent by senior officials of the country - President of Latvia Raimonds Vejonis and Prime Minister Maris Kučinskis. The laureates were welcomed by the Chairman OF the Rēzekne municipality council Monvīds Švarcs, Chairman of the board of directors of the foundation “Rural Economic Development in Rēzekne District”, Edgars Blinovs, Member of the Rēzekne District Council, Chairman OF the Standing Committee on Development Planning, Economy, Environment and Infrastructure, Kaspars Melnis, as well as guests -- state Secretary of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development, Linards Muciņš, Director of the Nordic Region of THE insurance company Reinis Berzkalns, and Head of BTA Customer Transaction Centre “Rezekne” Rita Kurmeikova, Director of Rural Support Service Anna wiltola – Helviga, Director of State Agency for Employment, Inese Kalvāne.
The initiative of the municipality of Rezekne to promote the development of the business environment in the region is highly valued and extremely necessary. In particular, this applies to the small and medium-sized business which forms the basis of Latvia's economy and employment. The successful development of this business also contributes to the overall growth of the economy in Latvia, which creates new jobs and innovation, ”– in its congratulations, the Latvian State President Raimonds Vejonis emphasizes in his congratulations on the organizers and participants of the Rezekne municipality.
The “Rezekne Municipality” competition is one of the business support measures implemented by the municipality of Rezekne to promote the development of the business environment, employment, attractiveness and public activity. In the event of this competition, 26 applicants have been nominated in autumn 2015 and in winter were attended by the participants of the evaluation Commission in order to carefully familiarise themselves with their economic activities in assessing the qualitative indicators of the product or service produced, the creation of the production area and the attraction of investments, the creation of new jobs, etc. In the composition of the evaluation Commission – President OF the Commission Kaspars Melnis, Members of the Commission – Member of the Rēzekne District Council Guntis Rasims, Head of the Development Planning Unit, Inga Zapāne, representative of the Rēzekne Technology Academy, Iveta Mietule, winner of the previous year's competition in nomination “VIP” Jānis Kuzminskis, Lendžu parish management head Voldemar Deksnis and Gaigalavas parish administration head Voldemar Vabals.

RSEZ SIA VEREMS was also nominated in this nomination.

 Nomination “annual craftsman” this time only one of the many amateurs of Rezekne's municipality – a master of Ilzeskalna parish Arnis Zachesture. Also in nomination “Annual domestic producer” the competition was not Sakstagala civil parish z/s “mint” (May and Evalds Bodji).

In nomination “Gada of the Year” applicants shall be nominated by the Commission in accordance with the State Revenue Service. It is a company that employs the most permanent staff in the last year or has created the most new jobs and has paid the social tax contributions of the largest employer, this year is received by SIA “VEREMS” RSEZ (member of the board of directors Zinaida Lovnik).
The most requested applicants were: in the nomination “annual enterprise 2015”. These are companies who have gained recognition outside the municipality in the year of their economic activities, carry out the modernisation of their economic activities in accordance with modern technological and environmental requirements, improve working conditions for their employees, creating new jobs, actively participate in the formation of the municipality and lead in public life. Following the evaluation of the Commission decision, three applicants are recognised as winners: SIA “LEAX Rezekne” RSEZ (Gints Jahuks),  z/s “Zukovi” from Audriņu parish (Alexander Zukov) and z/s “Pujati” from Nautrēnu parish (Alexander Pulat)

The winners of the competition received a traditional white metal statue that reflected the bright and hard road to success. Alexander Rezvov, an artist of the art and design secondary school of Rezekne, was created as his diplomat by Alexander Rezvov, the metal artist Normunds Kudins. The concert was performed by Aija Andrejeva, Lauris Reiniks, Ivo Greelins – Greelis, as well as Rēzekne's leading youth vocal studio “Skonai” (manager Guntra Kuzmina). The event was also attended by representatives of Latvian National Defence Fund “Lāčplēsis”, who presented his prizes for achievements and long-term self-exciting work for the benefit of Latvia.
