Communication on the transfer of the project of the Rēzekne District Development Programme 2019-2025 to public consultation

By decision of the municipality of Rezekne of 15 November 2018 (No 24, § 35), a draft of the Rēzekne District Development Programme 2019-2025 is transferred to public consultation.
The development programme is a local government medium-term planning document, which aims to identify and evaluate the resources available to the local government (natural resources, infrastructure, human resources etc.) and provide a clear vision and solutions for their more efficient use. In regulatory enactments, the local government has a wide range of competence, and the local government also deals with other issues of importance to citizens, thus the development priorities laid down in the development programme, specific actions and tasks affect all areas and sectors under the responsibility of the local government.
We invite people, entrepreneurs, representatives of various sectors and non-governmental organisations to participate in the public consultation of the development programme.
The duration of the public consultation of the draft development programme is set from 26 November to 28 December 2018.
