Notification of the nomination of candidates for the election of Members of the Commission of Rezekne
On the basis of the joint Rēzekne Municipality, Varakalans District and Viļānu, the decision of the General Assembly of the Municipalities of 14 October 2020 “on the setting of the deadline for the application of candidates for the election of members of the Commission of the United Nations and the approval of the application form” (Protocol No 1, § 3), is announced as the deadline for the nomination of Members of the Commission of the United Rēzekne, including the President of the Commission, from 15 October 2020 to 16 November 2020.
The right to nominate and submit their representatives to the Commission shall be:
1) the registered political organisations (parties) or the central permanent functioning management institutions of their associations;
2) Rēzekne municipality, Varakalans municipality and Viļānu council members;
3) electoral groups (not less than 10 voting persons of Latvia).
Every Latvian citizen may be elected as a member of the Commission of the election:
1) who knows the Latvian language;
2) who has at least general secondary education;
3) who is not a member of the Saeima or Rezekne municipality, Varakalans municipality and Viļānu of the council of the council.
The application shall contain information in accordance with Section 8 of the Law on the election of the city and municipality of the Republic of Latvia and Section 8 of the Law: the name, surname, personal identity number, address of residence, place of employment and occupation (occupation) of the candidate for the election of the Member of the Commission, information regarding participation in the preparation and organisation of the elections in the past.
A written statement of each candidate shall be appended to the application that he or she agrees to submit his or her candidature and the processing of his or her personal data to be performed in accordance with the requirements of the Republic of Latvia's city and municipality elections and the Commission of the polling stations in accordance with the requirements of the Law.
If a candidate is nominated by a group of voters, the application must be signed by each voter, giving his name, surname, personal identity number and address of residence.
If a candidate is nominated by a political organisation (party) or association of political organisations (parties), an extract from the decision of the central permanent functioning management institution shall also be appended to the application.
The application must be submitted in person by 16 November 2020 (including), in the 17 th office of the municipality of Rezekne, in the Alleys OF Liberation, IN Rēzekne.
The application may also be submitted electronically, subject to the requirements for the presentation of the legal force and documents of the document by sending the e-mail of the municipality of Rēzekne: info@rezeknesnovads.lv.
