Notification of the nomination of candidates for the election of Members of the Commission of Rezekne
On the basis of the decision of the Rēzekne District Council of 3 August 2017 (Protocol No 18, § 7), the deadline for the nomination of candidates for the election of Members of the Commission of Rezekne shall be announced until 25 August 2017.
The right to nominate and submit their representatives to the Commission shall be:
- the registered political organisations (parties) or their associations;
- The council of the Rēzekne council;
- electoral groups (not less than 10 Latvian citizens).
Every Latvian citizen may be elected as a member of the Commission of the election:
- who knows the Latvian language;
- having at least general secondary education;
- who is not a member of the Saeima or municipality council.
In the application, the Rēzekne council shall send the information to the council in accordance with Section 8 of the Law on the election of the city and municipality of the Republic of Latvia and Section 8 of the Law on Election District: the given name, surname, personal identity number, address of residence, education, workplace and occupation (occupation), communication media information, information regarding participation in the preparation and organisation of the elections in the past.
The application shall include a written statement by each candidate that he or she agrees to submit his or her candidature and the processing of his or her personal data to be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Republic of the Republic of the Republic and the Commission and the Commission of the polling stations.
If a candidate is nominated by a group of voters, the application must be signed by each voter, giving his name, surname, personal identity number and address of residence.
If a candidate is nominated by a political organisation (party) or association of political organisations (parties), an extract from the decision of the central permanent functioning management institution shall also be appended to the application.
The application shall be submitted in person until 25 August 2017 (including), the 17 th Cabinet of the Municipal Administration of Rezekne (room acceptable), the Liberation Alliance 95A, Rezekne.
