Public consultation notice

Following Decision No 259 of the Environmental Monitoring Bureau (03.10.2016), the assessment of the environmental impact of the Southern Rēzekne was launched.
The initiator of the intended activity is VAS “Latvian State Roads” (Gogol Street 3, Riga, LV-1050, tel.: 67028169, tail. No 40003344207)
Two basic alternatives to the route are considered with possible modifications and an additional alternative as a result of the initial public consultation. The length of the newly built road section, depending on the alternatives, is 10-15 km along the parish of Rēzekne Municipality Griškānu, crossing THE parish OF Ozolaines with Daugavpils highway.
The environmental impact assessment can be found in THE parish administration OF Griškānu: central street 27, Sprudzeva, Griškānu parish, Rezekne nov., LV-4641, as well as on the website www.enviro.lv/Apvads from this year 5 March to 5 April and at this time send written proposals regarding the intended activity and its impact on the environment for the State Bureau of Environmental Monitoring (industrial street 23, LV-1045, Riga, tel. 67321173, www.vpvb.gov.lv, e-mail: vpvb@vpvb.gov.lv).
The public consultation of the environmental impact assessment will take place on 15 March of that year at 16.00 Griškānu in parish administration.
