“Rezekne 2014” came to the readers.

Thicker and bigger than other years, for the 17 th time, the almanac “Rezekne 2014” is going to the readers. In its pages, more than seven dozens of authors have been published, not only from the municipality of Rezekne and Rezekne - the geography of the stock has expanded this year with authors from Daugavpils, Ludza and Vilaka and with Russian poets. There is also a poet on the cover of the book, Anton Kokoy, though the monument's bronze, but the memory of the newspapers is alive. As the long-standing organizer and inspiration of the stock said, the poet Olga Orsa (she also had a poet Livia Smirnova), the almanac is dedicated to Rezekne this year, the people of the people, so the book is illustrated by the pictures of both Anton and Franz Tradog, Nicodema Ranana and Yuri Tinkanov. The Latvian author of authors has supplemented this year with excellent poets, members of the Latvian writer Union, Valentine Lukashevich and Juoni Ryuchan, who have both come from Rezekne, but currently live in Daugavpils.
In the presentation of “Rezekne 2014” in Rēzekne District, as always, a large crowd of poetry poetry gathered, smelled of autumn flowers, music and poetry in Latvian, Latgalian, Russian.
The outcome of the poetry is financially supported by the Rēzekne municipality council, the city council of Rezekne and a/s “Rēzekne bus parks”. The books received all the parish and school libraries of Rezekne, while 20 libraries also received the antology of Alexander Jakimov's Русская поэзия Латвии.
