Participate in the youth event “countryside!”
For several years SIA “Latvian Rural Consultation and Education Centre” Rēzekne Consultation Bureau organizes the youth event “countryside to be!”, which takes place within the framework of the national rural network activity “support for rural youth entrepreneurship”. The objective of the measure is to support the start-up of young people in rural areas by providing an opportunity to acquire entrepreneurial knowledge through intensive training and the possibility of obtaining a money prize that can be used to implement business ideas through the participation of new entrepreneurs.
Participant criteria:
age 18 to 40 years of age
• want to start implementing your business idea in rural areas;
• whether there is an existing business of not more than 3 years and which you want to develop;
you may have taken part in the previous years, but unfortunately you haven't got to the final and you're ready to try your luck again.
If you meet these criteria, we call you for an informative day on 30 October, at 13:00, which will take place in the garden street 7a, in room 303, to familiarise itself with the plan of the training, the business experience in the fields and the “fields of the competition to be” the success story of the laureate and his further development.
The curriculum includes lessons on the generation and definition of ideas, its presentation to potential clients, investors, bank and collaborators, as well as insight into market analysis, marketing and business plan building. Participants will be able to identify the basic principles of financial planning, the current funding instruments in rural areas, as well as to go to new entrepreneurs who have already realised the idea and work successfully in the field of their business. Each of the participants will be given the opportunity to prepare a simplified draft of their ideas and to present them to experts who also nominate representatives for the regional selection competition “fields to be” where the most successful business ideas are awarded with money prizes.
