Participate in “Lubana winter event 2018”!

On 27 January, Saturday, we invite every winter lover to join the event “Luban winter event 2018”. We'll enjoy all the fun together, skiing the roughness of Luban's plain, while children and other participants will be able to try the Olympics of the Olympic Games on ice. After sporting activities, we will enjoy a delicious soup on the fire, those who are in a long and flesh, will be able to enjoy the joy of the chalk so that they will be heated in a mobile pirate.

11:20 will be given a start for skiing hiking, there will be a runway in the absence of snow - a stroke. The total length of the distance is 14 kilometres in the roughness roughness of Luban.
After the start of the hiking, at 11:30 will be able to participate in other winter activities, those who do not go into the skiing. It will be possible to try the winter Olympic gaming activities in our newsletter – Shorttreks, hockey: slalom with a wheel and blow gates, slalom on skates, field kernel, field bobsley forty, basketball running 300 m without age limits.
Expecting to return to the hiking participants, from at 14:00 will be available for Garda soup for any participant. And what would be an exciting winter activity without a chalk? It will be cut straight for you, but then you'll be able to warm up in the mobile pirate.
The entire event will also have an indoor room where you can set up your belongings, warm up.
Children with parents will be able to explore the surroundings of Luban Lake and also try a variety of winter activities, create pleasant memories, as well as inspire to continue with winter activities in the future.

The event takes place in the framework of the project “Lubans Latvia at the time and now” with the financial support of the Latvian Environment Protection Fund, which is implemented by the Madona municipality association “at the landings” jointly with the project partners – the associations “Aborians” from the municipality of Luban and “Lubana Vilnis” from the municipality of Rezekne. The project aims at identifying and highlighting the value of Lake Luban as a natural and cultural heritage by organising and building activities based on public awareness, education and sports activities.
