Support for promotion of tourism activities

The Rural Support Service shall announce the acceptance of open tender proposals in activity “implementation of the marketing activities of tourism services related to rural tourism”.

The adoption of the 12 th round projects will take place from 15 July 2015 to 14 August 2015 with a total public funding of 200 000,00 EURO.

The deadline for implementation of the projects submitted is 1 November 2015.

The objective of the measure is to promote non-agricultural activities in rural areas by developing and developing rural tourism and tourism-related services and infrastructure, as well as through marketing campaigns to promote rural development, agricultural and rural tourism cooperation through the development and promotion of rural tourism in the rural environment.

The activity is implemented through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and rural development programmes 2007-2013. (LAP) support for tourism activities.

Project applications must be submitted to the customer service centre of the Ministry of Agriculture in person: Riga, Republic of Republic 2, 2 nd floor, or rural support service regional agricultural administrations, electronically (in accordance with regulatory enactments regarding the design of electronic documents) or using the electronic login system of the rural support service (EPS).
