Apply for area payments this year will only be available electronically

The Rural Support Service (LAD) informs that, as of this year, the application for area payments can only be carried out electronically via a LAD electronic login system (EPS).
In order to be able to use that system and to submit a submission, farmers must conclude a contract for the use of a LAD electronic login system service. THE LAD calls on all farmers who have not yet become EPS users to enter into a user contract in the near future so that THEY can start using EPS in spring and submit a submission for payment. The form of the contract is available both electronically ON THE LAD website www.lad.gov.lv in the “how to become AN EPS user” menu, and in any LAD customer service center. A filled-in contract can be submitted both personally TO LAD customer centres and electronically via electronic signature.
In spring, before the submission of area payments TO THE EPS, THE LAD will organise support measures for farmers on the use of EPS and the application of applications for area payments electronically. Support will also be provided by the Latvian Rural Advisory and Education Centre.
