Pilot project on the development of professional social work in municipalities

The municipality of Rezekne is involved in the pilot project of ESF project 9.2.1.1/15/I/001 “development of professional social work in local governments”:

• from 01.10.2018 to 29.03.2019 on the development of methodologies for working with persons with mental disorders (GRT);
• from 02.05.2019 to 31.10.2019 on the development of methodologies for social work with victims of violence and violence;
• from 02.09.2019 to 28.02.2020 on the development of methodologies for social work for families with children;
• from 01.10.2019 to 31.03.2020 on the development of methodologies for social work with dependent and co-dependent persons.

The aim of the pilot project is to increase the efficiency of local government social services and the professionalism of social work specialists employed in local governments.
