First team championship in Latgale youth chess league

        The historic moment happened! THE Championship of Latgale Youth Chess Championship was held in Maltas chess club. It is a completely new tournament in the Latvian chess calendar, which was undertaken by the children-youth sports school of Rezekne. These competitions take part in the team of Latgale region, which consists of three children born and younger in 1998, with no sports classes and one girl who must play at Table 4. Time of reflection - 25 minutes plus 10 seconds per party per participant until the end of the party. Who wished, also wrote the party protocol.
In general, in these three-stage team competitions, playing after a doughnut system, 10 teams from Daugavpils, Rezekne, Jackabpils, Viļāniem and Maltas were started, bringing together a half-hundred new chess.

        The three best teams won 16 points out of 18, getting eight win and one loss.

The first champion of the new tournament became Daugavpils Russian Museum team that contests only in addition to additional indicators (individual points) Jekabpils and Rezeknes first teams.

         One hundred percentile results reached Marija Nikolaieva (Daugavpils Russian licejs) and Kaspars Nukša (Jçkabpils-1), with nine and eight victories in nine parties, respectively.
