A little more than a month remained until the start of the Latvian running serial BigBank running Latvia, which will traditionally begin with a semi-marathon in Rezekne on April 9. For several weeks, the semiconmarathon organisers in schools and kindergartens organize training and tell about the benefits from running, but from March 9, the festival park will start joint training for all stakeholders.

“Magnen” sports club invites everyone who wants, regardless of age and preparedness, to participate in joint training that will take place in the festival park to prepare for half-marathon. The first training and opening of the season will take place on 9 March at 17.00 and together with semiconmarathon organizers will be guided by the Ambassador of Rezekne to the Ambassador of Rēzekne Gunta Latiseva-Chudare. The video for Rezekne and half marathon will be shot during the training. It will also be possible to purchase sports goods with large discounts from the Sportland store, to test the position of the footprint, as well as to take photos of “BigBank running Latvia” in the photo wall background.

“With reference to citizens' requests, training will take place more often than in previous years.” - promised training managers. Next training will take place on 16 March at 18.00 festival park.

We'll remind you that you can register for the Rēzekne semi-marathon until April 8 at www.rezeknespusmaratons.lv. Participation in a semi-marathon is a fee and, later, a membership fee is higher.
