A broad range of experts will judge the main directions of the further development of the Rezekne Higher School

Rezekne High School on 21 August 2015 at 13:30 Rēzekne High School Engineering Faculty (Liberation Alliance - 115, 4) organizes an expert discussion “The main accents of the Rēzekne Higher School Development Strategy in the context of the future vision of Latgale region”.
The objective of the initiative is to highlight and analyse the main lines of activity of the further development strategy of the Rēzekne Higher School, which are aimed at promoting the future sustainable growth of Latgale region and Latvia.
Minister for Environmental Protection and Regional Development Kaspars Gerhards, former Minister of Education and Science, Jānis Vaivads, Chairman of THE Board of Latvia and Chairman of the European Union of Latvia Andris Jaunsleinis.
In the context of the discussion topic of the presentation, the Rēzekne Higher School rector Edmunds Turumnieks, Chairman of the Rēzekne District Council, Chairman OF the Consultative Convention of the University of Rēzekne Monvīds Švarcs, President of Latgale Planning Region Administration Iveta Kalina-Tahne and Chairman of THE Board of SIA RSEZ “Verems” Janis Staris.
The leaders of academic and scientific research institutions, representatives of sectoral ministries, local government leaders, entrepreneurs, academics of the University of Rezekne, members of the Consultative Convention, doctorate and students will participate in the discussion. Among them, the Deputy Director of Education and Science Department of Education, Science and Innovation in the field of Policy Planning Laura Treimane, Chairman of the Council of the Council for Development of Latgale Planning Region, President of Ludza District Council Alīna Gendele, Board Member of SIA “Latgale Gardens Logistics”, Edgars Romanovskis, Prorectore Angelika Jusko-Schtekele, Prorector of the University of Rezekne, Prorectore of Rezekne Higher School for Research and Innovation, Arnolds Ubelis, Director of the European Union of the European Union for research and innovation “Horizon 2020”, Director of the National Contact Point of the European Union for research and innovation “Horizon 2020”, DIRECTOR of the European Union High School of the European Union for Research and Innovation, Jelena Ubelis, Director of the Rēzekne branch of the European Union for Research and Innovation, Aivars Vilkaste.
The main conclusions and proposals of the discussion will be published in the Rēzekne Higher School anniversary, “Rēzekne Higher School on the Road to hundreds of years”, which will come up in the end of that year.
