Submission of applicants for competition “Rezekne municipality 2014”

For the third consecutive year in Rēzekne municipality, the “Rezekne Municipality” competition will be established and honoured by entrepreneurs of Rezekne, who contribute to the development of the business environment, employment, attractiveness of the territory and public activity. An applicant may be a self-employed person, an individual employer, as well as any merchant, irrespective of his legal status and activity sector, which is registered and carries out his or her economic activity in the territory of Rezekne District.
Candidates of the competition, upon receipt thereof, shall be entitled to nominate the Consultative Council, other institutions, as well as any resident of Rezekne to the following nine nominations:
- annual domestic producer;
- an official of the year;
- the introduction of an annual innovative product/service;
- annual company;
- annual company - municipality in VIP;
- the new company of the year;
- an annual tourism service provider;
- an annual education mecenate;
- the cultural mecenate of the year.
Tenders may be submitted by submitting a completed application form until 1 September 2014 (including):
• Rēzekne Municipality Development Planning Division (Cabinet 27, Liberation Alliance 95 A, Rezekne) or any municipality of Rezekne municipality;
sending by post with indication: “Contest“ Rēzeknes municipality ”, municipality of Rezekne, Liberation Alliance 95 A, Rezekne, LV-4601”
when sending to e-mail: info@rezeknesnovads.lv by signing an application questionnaire with a secure electronic signature, indicating “competition“ Rēzekne District Company ””.
In order to determine the winners of the competition, an evaluation Commission will be established, which will visit bidders of the competition at the places of performance of their activities. The winners of the competition will be honoured and the prizes are presented at a solemn ceremony at the event “Rēzekne Municipality Day 2014”, which will be held on 19 March 2015 (Joseph Day).
