The project “live healthy in Rezekne District!” will begin work on “Existing Health Room”
The project “lives healthy in Rēzekne District!” Within the 9.2.4.2/16/I/027 of “No.”, activity/event “outgoing health room” is started during July. The event is intended to provide theoretical information on the health of the cardiovascular system, increased and reduced effects of arterial blood pressure, overweight problems, changes in cholesterol and sugar levels (blood).
It will be possible to perform health self-control measurements, i.e. qualitative and accurate measurements of blood pressure, to determine body weight and height, to calculate body weight index, and to determine the blood and cholesterol levels in the blood. A short expedition will be provided with the aim of encouraging participants in the event to carry out the eradication of daily harmful habits.
This measure is planned to be implemented throughout the municipality, i.e. 25 parishes. The number of visitors to the event is limited, the login will take place by calling the specified phone numbers.

The project “live healthy in Rezekne District!” (9.2.4.2/16/I/027) takes place in the specific support objective of the operational programme “Growth and Employment” of 9.2.4. “to improve access to health promotion and disease prevention services, in particular to the population at risk of poverty and social exclusion” in the framework of Measure 9.2.4.2 “Measures to promote local public health and disease prevention”. The project is financed from the European Social Fund and the State budget.
