International Closing Conference of the Project “Global Schools” Trento (Italy)

From 11 to 13 March, the Rēzekne municipality delegation took part in the project “Global Schools: EYD 2015 to embed Global Learning in Primary Education” No. DCI-NSAED/2014/1#188450345# at the international final conference in Trento (Italy). At the Rēzekne District Conference, the project manager Inta Ozolniece, co-ordinator of the project Inga Zapāne, head of the municipality of Rēzekne, Guntars ants, Deputy Managing Director Vilis Deksnis and external communications coordinator Inta Rimšāne.
The conference took part in delegations from all the countries involved in the project (Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Great Britain, Portugal and Spain) to discuss the good experience, problems and opportunities for cooperation in the future.
All participants in the conference took part in eight different round tables on global education topics (e.g.: is i a global citizen? How to teach and learn about migration? School leaders and future learning etc.), discussing the situation in their country and the world as a whole.
The conference participants, with their reports on various global issues and topics, were presented by lecturers from different countries and institutions.
Deputy Head of Education Administration of Rezekne Vilis Deksnis it has been noted that the conference gained knowledge based on the personal experiences of many lecturers, both in shaping and developing globalisation in various countries and, in particular, important and important, in the direction of the future education process. "At the conference, questions have been raised about the link between the management of pupils, learning and global citizenship, and whether there is such a thing as“ sustainable ”management? In order to contribute to the future development of innovation, it is necessary to give greater attention to the development of leadership in pupils from school. Collective action is also important to achieve a fair and sustainable world. A number of approaches were offered to stimulate new ideas and new ways of thinking, as well as shared experience in the practice of groups.
The conference had an opportunity to discuss tolerance and our future, learning about how to live so that the land would be as long as possible, and that people would be happier.
The Vatican radio representative, who was born and raised in the Republic of Guinea-Bissau and still feels hurt by the fact that many Europeans have unequivocal attitudes to ungroids. This means that the topic of globalisation is important in any European Union country.
Of course, participation in the conference is a self-understandable phase of the project, meetings with representatives of all the project Member States, joint discussions and useful information on global issues from knowledgeable, experienced lecturers, but the project does not end. On March 21, the project envisages the final conference of the local project AT Lūznavas manor. It will involve representatives from all 24 educational institutions of Rezekne who were active and involved in the project at local level, with experience in global education.
