Project “Support for the provision of general education teachers in priority subjects”
By assigning target scholarships to educators of priority subjects, the project aims to provide the general educational institutions and vocational educational institutions with the necessary teachers of priority teaching subjects and to promote the attraction of teachers to educational institutions, thereby contributing to improvement of the quality of general education and ensuring the preparation of educatees for studies in natural sciences and technology programmes.
As priority subjects are defined: physics, chemistry, biology, natural sciences, mathematics, informatics, foreign language (one of the official languages of the European Union or European Economic Area countries – English, German, Swedish, French or other). The required number of contact hours for priority subjects in 7-12 classes is 9 and more.
