Projects

In order to support the high-quality and active leisure of young people, Narvesen, in cooperation with the youth organisation Avantis, is implementing a project contest day as an adventure. Youth organisations and interest centres throughout Latvia are invited to submit their projects to promote active lifestyles to receive up to €2000 funding for their implementation.

In addition, Citadele will give its special award to the project, which will be the most advisable on active lifestyle opportunities for young people with disabilities.
In each region – Kurzeme, Vidzeme, Latgale, Zemgale, Riga – one topical project will be implemented, which will be determined by the selection of the jury and the vote of the public. The applications will be evaluated by the Avantis Director of the youth organisation Ilona Bičevska, the supporter of the competition, Madaras apse, the Chairman of Narvesen's board of directors Catherine Judovica and the representative of Citadele Bank.

Project applications are currently under way and will last until 22 April.

Project applications may be submitted by associations, foundations and local authorities or agencies whose activities do not involve profit-making. Projects may include, for example, the renovation or new installation of sports facilities, the placement of active recreational places, the development of youth centres, the organisation of events or other initiatives topical and necessary in local society.
Following the collection of applications, by the end of May, the best project ideas will be able to vote on the Internet and the choice of the public will be given directly by the public.
