The Razna National Park travellers day will learn unique natural and cultural history values

In order to introduce unique values of nature, cultural history and landscapes, as well as tourism opportunities in Razna National Park, the next weekend, the second Razna National Park travellers' day will take place on July 14.
On this day, every interested party will have the opportunity to enjoy the trips with a sail boat in Razna Lake free of charge, to participate in the smoking of fish, to pour out wax candles and to try hand honey in butter, to visit THE Kaunatas kandžas Museum, to participate in the podiers' creative workshops and to visit the reconstructed Lūznavas manor.
“The fact that Razna travellers' daily activities and places of view describe the diversity of natural and cultural history in Razna National Park – from traditional artisanal workshops and agricultural holdings to the enjoyment of Razna's vast waters,“ Regina Indriķe ”of the Nature Education Centre of the Nature Protection Administration of the State Environmental Protection Administration.
This year, the tourist tourism information centres are actively involved in organising and promoting travellers' day, the offer is developed in collaboration with local tourism service providers such as Lūznavas Manor, Jaundomes Manor, and with individual entrepreneurs. New service providers, such as the holiday house “Runchi” and the guest house “sunrise in oaks”, will also be presented to entrepreneurs who were involved in providing the first travellers' day.
Rāznas Nacionālā parka apmeklētājiem 14. jūlijā būs iespēja arī apskatīt 9.-12. gadsimta latgaļu koka pils rekonstrukcijas procesu un piemērīt seno latgaļu bruņojumu Kroma kalnā, apskatīt Latvijā bagātāko zvaniņu privātkolekciju, kurā savākti vairāk nekā 5000 zvaniņu. Lai iepazītu dabas vērtības un kultūrvēstures pieminekļus, būs iespēja doties pārgājienā Akmeņu takā, apbraukt apkārt Ežezeram ar velosipēdu vai kopā ar nūjotājiem izstaigāt Lipušku apkārtni.
The Nature Education Centre “Razna” and the Jaundomes Manor Environmental Education Centre will also be expected to attend guests. In the Nature Education Centre “Razna” will be able to visit the exhibition, see the works of the Dagda Municipality of the municipality of Dagda, the musical paintings of the Latvian invisible society Daugavpils territorial organisation, Tamara Dorofejeva's cross-stitution and pearl embroidery, to participate in the creative workshop and to perform tasks with the orientation elements for the study of the centre of nature education and the surroundings. On the other hand, the Jaundomes Manor Environmental Education Centre will not only be able to look at the exhibition, but also taste the boiled “mud fish soup” on the fire.

Razna National Park is a specially protected nature area where the natural and landscape values help to detect the natural tourism infrastructure created in several sites: the Androupenes marsh trail, the stone trail, the large Liepukalna nature trail and the view tower, the rest area in the Piloros oak tree. Tourist attractions - Mākoņkalns, Androupenes Rural City, Lūznavas Manor will also wait for visitors.

“We call for a booking 14 July to travel and know one of the four national parks in Latvia – Razna National Park, in the day with family or friends' company, but in the evening enjoy the light, music and natural performances in the nature concert hall in Zosna,” says R. Indriķe.
The Razna National Park is organized by Nature Protection Administration in cooperation with local governments of Rezekne, Ludza and Dagda and entrepreneurs who operate in the territory of the National Park. The travelers' day tradition in Razna National Park was started in 2017, celebrating the decades of the national park.
